this lad will be a star of the future,he`s done nothing but impress so far takes you forward in attack and is steady away in defence id love him to stay for the rest of the season and would see it has a huge coup if we could get him full time.

Would be more than happy if Cooper signed a full time deal. Looks very mobile and gains plenty of yards.

Thought he had a very good game last night

It's nice to hear a few positive comments about Cooper from fellow Cas fans.

When I heard we'd signed him on loan I was quite pleased cos he's a player I recall seeing play for Wire quite a bit last season and I can remember thinking at the time 'why don't Cas seem to produce good strong young forwards like that - apart from occasionally such as Joe'.

But at the game against Crusaders I heard a number of complaints whilst in the ground and on walking away afterwards to the effect that Cas shouldn't be making these loan signings but should be giving game time to their own youngsters.

Whilst I applaud that idea in theory it only makes sense if we have our own youngsters who are as good as those we are bringing in on loan. On the basis that Nathan Massey is seen as the best young forward we have (given he gets closest to playing for the 1st team) I'd have to say that none of them are as good as Cooper.

For me the only time to introduce a flock of youngsters, is in cup games against lower opposition and in games at the end of the season when position is secure. I know these games arent always there but otherwise you introduce them too early and destroy their confidence and then you have destroyed the player.
