Does anyone think we should give phil veievers till end of the season and see how well he does now we aint got the coaching mayem nearly sorted till the end of the season and that will give club time to get right appointment as we might end up hiring a coach and not get the franchise and end up losing another coach. its just a thought does anyone e3lse agree
I think it could be better getting a coach now than waiting until the season is over. This would allow the new coach time to analyse the squad to see who he doesn't need and what he does need for 2012. I think we have a few players out of contract and maybe there are some we want to keep who will be reluctant to sign until the new coach is appointed.
The players haven't looked in the best possible shape this season, and the players still seem to lack a certain amount of self-belief and confidence. So, as much as I would like to see a new coach in place asap, it would be probably be better for the players and the new coach if he came in close season, and we didn't let the overseas players spend so long in Aus.
