Quotegirl power="girl power"Quite simply 3 of their tries were assists by the referee clear knock ons forward passes, this is not sour grapes but fact. I would go so far as to suggest the ref was close to being corrupt.
Way to often in 2nd half we had chances but poor passing let us down. The trie by Mapals was outsanding created by Gavins mesmering break.
A most disappointing aspect of the game was the cougar faithful stayed behind to cheer and applaud the players and bar a couple left the pitch, I understand they may have been frustrated but in my opinion this was poor.
At the final whistle one of the March brothers kicked the ball towards cougar fans and he got the relevant response but as a group of us were walking past their fans and March brother who was no7 was abusive and threatening toward some fans which is unacceptable.
Based on the referees performance I would suggest the meeting York had with the rfl complaining about their treatment clearly worked in their benefit.
Perhaps Barry should do the same but also take a copy of the game today to prove the point.
York only scored a penalty in the 2nd half such was our dominance and credit to the boys for the comeback.'"
Obviously you had too much of the falling down water that your fans were drinking on the terrace, as for forward passes, how dare you complain, and as for paul march giving you verbal, what a load of tosh, hes not going to be abusive when his own children were at the front of the stand, and thats who he came over too.
Just get over it you lost, same as e did at your place, and yes, the officials were dire.
My thoughts on the ref. He definatly made some bad calls that resulted in Yorks lead at the break, but I think, someone like the MC, must have had a chat to him at HT, because he got a little better. He was slack on the offside's but I think for bothsides and probably wanted to keep the game flowing, which you cant fault him for as I dont think anyone likes a stop, start game.
On Cougars, Started well, the better team for the opening quarter, & heads dropped when a couple of decisions went against us. In the 2nd half we were awful for the 1st 20mins, Lots of possesion, but made too many handling errors, as did York. Danny Jones was poor today, and for me its time to give Craig Fawcett a game, while George Raynor looked like he couldnt be bothered.
Then at the end, apart from Buster & Brown, the team just walking off and ignoring the fans is disgraceful, and shows complete lack off respect for those who made the 90-100 mile round trip. And its not the 1st time its happened. I seem to remember them doing it somewhere last season.
And finally, dont know what happened between some of our fans & March. I was behind the incident, but got it in the neck for it from some York fans. One particually angry York, told me to F**k off, when I hadnt done anything. I asked what had I done, and just said F**k off home.
I say this. What happens in the game, stays in the game. At fulltime, win or loose, have a booze. For god sake, its Rugby League, this game prides its self on supporters from opposing sides standing side by side and then having a drink together before and after the match.
I am sure all of the team today were dejected at full time not just to lose but to have played poorly collectively as a team.Maybe the captain should be getting his players together at the end for stretching and clapping the fans?

Well said that man, good banter a good laugh and a good drink that'll do for me.
Must agree the ref and touches were very poor for both sides, Lee mapals second try came off a blatant knock on, but hey its only a game.
One each this season and nowt in both games.
Must agree raynor was pants, what you done to him, he was class when he was with us.
All the best for the rest of the season, see you when you play the Skolars away in august, may be a pint or two will be sunk.
