Great diary Wilf, I was at that Derby at Craven park, I remember the try from Ronson, my memory must be letting me down, as I recall it was more like from the halfway line. And would we have been relegated if we had lost, keep up these great diaries Wilf.
your usual accurate assessment of the game wilf, yes disappointing but the injuries and suspensions etc did have an effect, I totally agree about gaz ellis hes incredible the amount of times he puts in a big tackle and always takes the ball up strongly time after time is amazing, young matongo needs to take notice and get more involved. also I was one who used to criticise sneyd for not taking the line on more, but as for the rest of his game we would find it difficult to find a better player, in the derby john wells highlighted him organising the side by telling satae to stand along side of him to the left, this fooled 3 defenders into thinking satae was getting the ball which left a huge hole for griffin to stroll through, a lot of supporters don't seem to see that sort of thing, do they!!.
