Really hope it works out for him - always seemed genuine and a really nice guy, just think he lacked a little passion and needed to man up a bit more on discipline!
Last time he was at Newcastle he was part of about a 10 man coaching and training staff. That rose to 32 under Wayne Bennett.
2 million dollars is being cut from the football budget, but 1.3 mill of that is Bennett's wage, and he is taking his head trainer, chief recruiter and under 20s coach with him, which just about covers the other 700k.
It will be a very different experience for him this time around.
