2 Correct winning margins for me aswell tonight

On the first part, sometime earlier in the thread, it was sugested that the top 8 are the top 8 regardless of whether they are sponsors or not. Just that the non-sponsors (should there be any) would not be entitled to any prizes allocated during the play-offs.

On the second part over to the administrator.

Over to the administrator on both parts really.

tradition (not that it means anything) states that those who are not sponsors never actually entered the prediction competition in the first place, its a generous act of charity to work out their scores

depending on what ties there are then they may not need splitting

If my mathematics are correct:

1st place is assured
1 point separates 2nd and 5th
1 point separates 6th and 10th

So, for example, 2 non-sponsors reached the final, does the prize not get awarded?

I'm only repeating what was stated earlier in the thread and as it was never validated (or contradicted) by an administrator I've no idea, only being a 'newbie' in this prediction malarky.

Hopie has now contradicted the proposition from his position of regular entrant.

Until an administrator speaks then I'm just an interested onlooker, just as I will be for the Play-Off series to follow.

153 - Old feller
153 - Number 2 (sponsor ?)



Again I'm asking is Number 2 a sponsor?

If he is then the cut off looks like it's going to be 149 with one game to go (on the assumption that =#FF0000Craigloiner, =#FF0000steve slippery morris and =#FF0000Gotcha still aren't sponsors?) in which case a correct prediction and margin from any of Hopie, EmmaMur01 or ennjay could yet see them hit 149. But as Hopie and ennjay are both going for Salford the same as rhinos 69 they can't make the 8 as the mark would then move to 150. Only EmmaMur01 can hit 149 and it still be the target number although Wakefield have to win by 10 for that to happen.

(As I say though that whole scenario depends on Number 2 being a sponsor and the other 3 named in red not being...... I think)

I think this might be case of co-ordination between Frosties and our webmaster to cross-check any queries about sponsorship payment of participants.

I did state in a earlier post i didnt realise what i had to do a sponsor and just thought it was a bit of fun, i did say i would pull out but someone said i should just keep doing it for a laugh, so im not bothered what happens to me and count me out of it, many thanks for working out my scores though really appreciate it!!

After a preliminary count up from this week's games it's looking like:

JMT (38), Highbury Rhino (53), Old Feller (79) assuming no penalty imposed for a late entry, Rhino 46 (64), LFCRhino (30) and FoxyRhino (13) are all in the top 8.

The other two places are then between:

Craigloiner (notwithstanding his above comment), Number 2, rhinos 69 (65), steve slippery morris, Gotcha and finally Hopie (25) tied with ennjay (17) should two before them on the list not qualify.

All preliminary (guesswork) you understand.

I know it's probably a bit late for the info but there's been a sticky thread on the forum all year round about sponsorship plus a link on the front page on the left hand side.

I'm pretty sure Number 2 is a sponsor if I think he is who I think he is (the former Oldham Rhino)
