Thought it deserved it's own thread. Well done Bulls for giving them some time and recognition. Well done everybody in the crowd for applauding them. They are the reason we get to watch our Team, all be it playing badly. They do the toughest of jobs by putting their lives on the line and deserve and should always command respect.
More effort should be made in this way, free tickets for them and their families at all grounds. Maybe the RFL should champion that one? We can honour them and make use of their various display teams and bands. The Americans always make sure their Forces are honoured and looked after at most events Sporting and otherwise.

Oh I should have said Boys and Girls. Not just a Mans army now the Girls are out there in the thick of things with them.

Why not? Whatever your political position support for the troups on the ground should be unwaivering.

Or are you saying that because you thinkg it makes you look liberal and clever? Maybe worth recognising that had it not been for people serving in the army (whatever the reason for them being there) you wouldn't be able to.

Why?

No it shouldn't they are part of the machine that have sent thousands of innocent people to their deaths in the past few years.

Why should I though?

Because they have put their lives on the line for their country and for people like you and me.

The Troops go where they are sent, they are not allowed to pick and choose. The Troops that fought in the Great War and all but gone now. They didn't question, just went to do their duty. We are free because of them. The Troops that fought in the Second world war, some were sent but most volunteered and we are free because of them. Politicians are the ones to blame if reasons for wars are wrong not the Troops.
