Looking at booking the 3 day trip soon with Catalan Sports Tours.

Can anyone give a review on these tours and spending money needed and rough prices of grub and drink etc.

Catalans Sports Tours are of course fantastic people, whose advertising helps keep this place running – and for the Cas mob, numbers of whom like to stay in Lloret del Mar over the border for some reason, organised coaches to and from the game from Spain.

But I'd recommend staying in Perpignan itself or, if you want, one of the nearby coastal resorts like Argeles sur Mer or Collioure (frequent local train service to Perps)

All sounds great other than the £6.50 a pint in Perpignan.

Anyone find any cheap places?

At the moment I'm thinking of a week in northern Spain or 3 days in Perpignan.

As expensive as everywhere else, the exchange rate will make it a very expensive trip this year, especially if you're a heavy drinker, they're taking us for a ride now over there

Will it be cheaper to have a weekend on the vino rather than lager?

got a place over there, came back last thurs, very expensive for food and drink. better stopping in spain and getting coach to the match. 4 euros for a coffee in perps 2 for 5 euros in gerona.wine bit cheaper than beer or coke.

Of course, you English can get drunk and make idiots of yourselves along with the best of us Welsh.
