How are we signing players without a coach? Surely it would be better to get the coach in and let him have a say in the signings so he can mould a team around his style of play?

I really don’t understand the logic in signing a clubless player with very little Superleague experience on a three year contract. Surely give the player 12 months, if he does well sit down and discuss extending the deal. The player was not wanted by Huddersfield and released last November with 12 months to still run on his contract.

I really hope the good Doctor is getting the right advice from those people around him.

We have zero depth as it is. It's another player in the mix. We're obviously looking elsewhere for more players so don't see the problem.

I'd agree, if like already mentioned it was a 12 month contract. Really don't understand us offering 3 year contracts to everyone willy nilly.

Think its more a case of him not being match fit , rather than injured , it states on the reds home website.

Was there something wrong with our forwards from the under 20's from last season? you know the one's that majority got released to lower league clubs or on duel registration.

I understand that the deal was agreed before Veivers and Simms left.... which could explain why they offered a 3 year deal.
