| I know we should be concentrating on the next game, but I can see a danger that the last game of the league season will be approached as the London game was.
I would imagine that the league would already have been won by Wigan, we are in second place, it will be Widnes' last game for 5 months and they will be going flat out for a famous win over their big club neighbours. No true wire fan ever wants to be beaten by the smellies in any game.
Its quite possible that TS would field a weakened side with the play-offs starting the following week. Is there another upset on the cards?

Couldn't give a monkeys about the result
But, I want to see whatever team is picked to pull on their jersey with pride and to give 100%.

| I hope they don't move this game from Sunday 9th September. My beloved Hereford Utd are away at Hyde Utd on Saturday 8th. Would hate to miss either of these games.

I imagine both Warrington and Widnes will be aware that such a big football fixture is taking place in the region and ensure there is no clash.

Thats obvious. My concern lies with Sky though. They may have the game moved to the Saturday evening slot.

The way Hudds are playing, we could play Jossy's Giants in Wire shirts, and still expect to get a result.
That Widnes game has banana skin written all over it

| Unless Wigan lose tomorrow it's 100% we're in second. Hudders and Widnes will be about preparation for the first playoff game, if that means resting players against Widnes so be it. I seem to remember players being rested in the home game and we coped just fine then.

| Widnes are playing much better now than they were in our two previous fixtures, though.

| Losing to Wierdness because of playing with a weakened side doesn't bother me so much, and even a 50+ defeat would soon be forgotten by everyone (bar our Chomical chums) should we go onto Old Trafford. What does bother me is the prospect of resting/protecting too many players in the last two games of the season and coming up against Saints/Catalan with too many players looking 'rusty'.
My choice would be to get Wembley out of the way (and hopefully return as winners) then play a virtual U20s side against Huddersfield. After this go into the last game with a first choice squad, where we should win at a canter, and be match fit/match hardened going into the playoffs.
