Well whoever wins the forecast competition must know his rugby.

Some of the results this week must have come as a shock to some and I had Swinton down for a big loss.

Armstrong and Watson were very good this afternoon so we will need to keep an eye on them on Friday.

Thought Batley threw the game away personally' their forwards looked big and strong but their halfbacks were totally outplayed so well done Swinton.

No doubt Charlie Eusebio Peroni Cokehead Caroli will see it totally from the opposite point of view but then he always disagrees with me.

The only reason I started the thread, was not because I am particularly fascinated by Swinton's progress, but to suggest that we should perhaps think again when stating or hinting that certain teams in this league are rubbish. Surely this kind of result, highlights that anyone can be beaten on the day and no team should get too complacent. It just happened to be Swinton that have highlighted this this weekend. It could just as easily have been York with the upset against fax a fortnight ago, with that game being all square with seconds remaining on the clock.
