SW London Chargers are taking on League One side Hemel Stags in a preseason friendly this Saturday (24th Jan) 2:30pm KO at Hemel.

It will be the first hit out for both clubs in 2015 as they look to get their season's underway.

Ended 40-4 to Hemel, although the scoreline is a little misleading as after Hemel's first two tries all conversions were declined. Hemel also had a player sent off for a spear tackle after about 25 minutes.

Turning out for the Stags was the unmistakable physique of ex Broncos junior Rob Thomas.

Enjoyable game in surprisingly pleasant conditions. Hope for the same tomorrow.
