I think Hock should be allowed back a week early to face Saints because of his good behaviour during his ban. After all, prisoners normally only serve about half of their sentence. And what's one week between friends.

Correct, he has not played for Wigan since June 5th 2009.

I don't expect to see Hock playing for the first team for a good 3-4 weeks after his ban finishes. He'll need to get back up to speed with proper match contact and match fitness after being out for two years, and the first team isn't the place for that to happen. Some big U20 crowds look likely.

I'd put him straight in...as sub.

I didn't realise that. In that case he should be back 2 weeks earlier.

The sad thing is that there is a mid season break in June for the U20's with only the rearranged game v Bradford on 11th June.

The U20's games in July are Quins away, 10th.
The next two however are at home on 16th and 23rd v Wakefield and Huddersfield.

Given that prisoners often get released halfway through their sentences, i think Hock should be retrospectively played in all our matches since June 2010.

Hock was provisionally banned on the 22 June 2009 after the A sample came back positive, the last time he played is neither here nor there.
