Just wondering, how come our Shaun didn't feature in the final? Was he injured, banned or just not selected?
Didn't he score the winner in the JPS trophy final that year or was that another season?
He only played 14 games that season, he was probably injured as he didn't feature in the team at all after the semi final. Looking at his overall record, I seem to remember him being blighted by injuries, he only played 149 games in 10 seasons and they played a lot more games per season back then.
I reckon the John Player match you're thinking of was the following season v HKR.
