I agree with what your saying. I just get ed off when our players get banned for stuff other players have been let off with. If the consistency was there i would understand.

It's the only way that the RFL can even up the cometition , we are so far ahead of everyone that by banning our players(who probably did deserve bans) but letting others off it evens it out a bit

Keep in mind we have a game in hand, which, if we won, would take us to top of the league.

Might be an incentive for other Wigan players to get up for the match knowing that they will be without two star players. No doubt the Huddersfield fans will be near wild heaven as they are clearly quality players, but I don't think you'll miss Joel's indiscipline or Sam's petulance. Maybe the ban will keep them in check for the future and work out well long term for you.

One persons indiscipline is another persons Agression, I personally wouldn't change him, that would be like saying I hated watching Cowie, skerrett, barrie mc or tallis etc. every team needs them and I bet you Yeaman won't try and wind Joel up again, therefore he did his job and woke his own team up in the process

As for Sam, his "petulance" hasn't stopped him being young player of the year twice in a row and undoubtedly the most dangerous player in SL so once again wouldnt change a thing. Do you think Saints fan would have changed Long or wire fans changed Briers, leeds fans changed Sinfield (I could go on) Answer is No they wouldn't but they all have one thing in common, they are all houses (Sam included) that get under the skin of their opponents

You're not really considering the bigger picture are you?? Champions last year, an improved squad this year, strength in depth that any other team would kill for with approx 16 of the squad being from our own acadamy plus several out on loan, a reserve team that has won their championship for the last 3 years and look even more comfortable this year, unbeaten despite having about 5 or 6 regular first teamers out every game and with a game in hand. Doesnt look that bad to me. WE may not win the title this year as anything can happen in knockout rugby but lets be brutally honest about 12 of the 14 SL clubs have a lot of catching up to do.
