After 4 games this guy has done one good kick in the first 30 seconds against bradford. This is quite worrying. The 1st half kicking yesterday was like a 8 year old just randomly kicking it into the fullbacks hands. Really it was that bad. The FB didn't get turned around once. Yes our forwards are small but they worked hard and were put under pressure by our appauling kicks. We may aswell of nurtured Gareth Moore. I am convinced he would have done more than 1 good kick in 4 games. Questions now need to be asked im affraid !

If you're going to start this seasons scapegoat campaign at least have the decency to get his name right.

An 8 year old wouldnt kick as at mini mod rules they are not allowed to kick until u10's

I must admit issac johns sounds better than just john, maybe we should change his name to that might make him better at kicking

his name is Isaac John and I think he's been more consistent than smith so far not amazing or anything but has shown some flashes of what could be in a few games time

Will you give him and the rest of the team a chance. He is a young lad who is plying his trade on the other side of the world, he is 4 games in!

We always knew it would take time to gel. For me the signs are encouraging, defence has improved, we look like we are trying to play a more expansive game which is great to watch. We have not been smashed by anyone and can count ourselves unlucky against the two Hull sides. We are yet to play a top side and the next few weeks will give us a clue as to where we are.

I am happy for "Johns" to find his feet this season and look forward to watching him develop!

Neither halfback has been outstanding, but neither have they been that bad either. They need time and they will improve.

To be honest the same can be said for a large proportion of our side. A case in point is the centres, Collis & Mellars. Done ok but after four games neither have either a try or an assist yet. We need more from them as well.
