Winger or centre?

Winger for me, doesn't have the skill of a centre, even though he is young. Hall had these abilities at that age (2yrs ago!!!).
Could be the best strike winger in SL IMO.

Thoughts?

Difficult to say with certainty as we've not seen him have a decent go at playing in the centres for the first team. However, from what I've seen of his game so far I'd tend to agree with you.

Centre.

The scary thing for me, from Briscoes point of view, is if he plays winger he could well have Yeaman as his centre so other than kick returns and scoots he'll not see too much ball. In Hall and Briscoe Hull have one of the most exciting centre partnerships in SL imho.

But, in saying that if Briscoe plays centre I don't see his winger getting much ball! Hall at centre and briscoe outside is the ticket for me!

Why??

I totally agree with that.

Because I've not seen any real passing ability from him. He reminds me of yeaman, just a bit quicker.

A quicker version of Yeaman has to be a better option than Yeaman himself, surely??

For now he shoud stay at winger, against Bradford last season when he was away down the wing. He really should of passes to his inside but didn't look comfortable in doing so, so he had to back himself and it only just came off.

Its the extra speed that should keep him on the wing IMO.

Hopefully centre in due course. Maybe winger for another season. Agree with previous point that he is strong like Yeaman but I think he may have a bit more about him up top. Still a youngster with plenty to learn and it's great he is in the England set up from that point of view.

Hall and Briscoe in the centres, Yeaman in the 2nd row. It was talked about a couple of years ago that Yeaman fancied moving to the 2nd row, we have the opportunity to do it if players can stay fit. We have 2 extremely experienced international wingers and 2 of the brightest prospects in SL in the centres. Added to Tansey at full back and we have a pretty good looking back 5. Yeaman would add the pace to the 2nd row that we have been lacking and would enable Manu to return to the bench as the strike player that he is.
