@James_Smailes - Bad news from FC win is a torn bicep injury for Galea. Scans will show how bad, but at this time of year it could be season ending. Hope not.
I know he hasn't been brilliant for us but got to feel for the guy. Just starting to him some form & has had a good career, would be a shame to think that today was his last day playing.

Sad news for Galea to finish his career on an injury, was starting to hit a bit of form the past few games.
Pleased for Pitts though. I rate him highly and now is his chance to have some more game time.

Don't really agree, McDonnell was at Rovers last year and he has been one of our best this season imo, whereas I think Galea has plodded and stifled our attack somewhat, I think he's just gone a year too many.
That said the effort is always there and his experience will have helped the youngsters. Always a shame when any player has to call it a day due to injury. |

Great shame for a him to end it on an injury, fantastic player for us and will go down as one of our best imports.
Never seemed to work out that well for FC, maybe for a number of reasons, I always thought it was a season too many as his injury record with us was getting worse year on year. But I think the way FC set up attack never suited him. He used to run some fantastic lines for us and played off Dobsons shoulder very well,
