Sad to hear about the serious illness of our former captain Greg Mackey.

A great player and of course he lifted the Premiership Trophy in 1991.

The Premiership trophy is before my time as an FC fan , but I had the pleasure of meeting Greg at a reunion do at the KC and snuck along on a behind the scenes tour of the stadium he was given by Johnny Whiteley. Lovely guy and I wish him all the best

Terrible news and I hope that he can overcome this terrible illness against all the odds. Oh for a Mackey/Entat combination in the halves again.

What we would give to have his like back at the club. One of our best I think

One of the best days in over 30 years supporting FC, seeing Greg lift that trophy in 1991. Thinking of Greg and his family and wishing him well!!

I have the shorts Greg wore in the 1991 final. In my top 5 players ever. 1991 final is only eclipsed by Cardiff.

Awful news. A great player, absolutely gave everything in every game for us.
