dobek is a clear replacement for 6 his kicking game is better than simons and hes a good all round player. very happy to see we have signed kesik next year. hes a hard working strong player who proves influential when on the pitch. lets hope we can build on this and have a good squad for next year.

All the best to Simon, but it looks like the club has done a decent deal with Kesik, according to the Star he would be leaving anyhow.

Could be wrong but I'm sure I read somewhere recently that Tony Miller said he (Simon Brown) has the best kicking game in our division.

Maybe if players do not want to stay then lets not force the issue. Maybe Dobek was signed in preparation for Simon going and who knows who else may come from him going.

In all honesty, Sheffield's need for a half back has been heightened by the Aaron Groom issue otherwise we would have had Simon Brown for the remainder of the season. They are also struggling for a goalkicker.

I'm not happy.....no decent 6 or 7....that's progress is it?
Simon Brown was one of our best players....and he was coming on well.
I would sooner have kept him until the end of the season.....whether we were to lose him or not.

I just get fed up of building a side for others to cherry-pick.
Who's next to go I wonder?
It's like de javu.
I am sick to death of watching a side develop and then see it disbanded.

Mind you...we have made a pigs-ear of trying to get to the play-offs and so we'd probably be be better off rebuilding.
