| I was at the Vauxhall Food and Beer Garden to watch the NRL Grand Final. Broncos were there heading out caps to anyone who signed up to the mailing list. No new badge, but the font has changed and the cap is navy blue, a blood red B, and a grey sword either side of the B. Also next season's kit will be made by Reebok.

I quite like Paladin stuff so moving to Reebok is a bit disappointing. They only seem to supply Leigh of either code along with Charlton & MK Dons. Hope this doesn't mean £70-£80 replicas because it's London, although Leigh's are priced at £52. Time will tell.

https://bdsmovement.net/boycott-reebokThis came to my attention, thought I should post it. Also I remember in the 00s when Reebok were West Ham kit providers, their replica shirts were very poor quality.

| Authentic Brands, who have owned Reebok since 2021, licence out the manufacture of kit and therefore the manufacturer of the Broncos kit will unlikely be the same as West Ham's in the 00s.
Boycotting a sportswear brand because they sponsor a national team is performative outrage and does nothing for the lives of the exploited. Unless direct action is takes against guilty governments, nothing changes for those who are suffering.

| That BDS post feels a bit of a reach. There’s a bit of truth about Reebok’s Israel ties but it’s spun up like some moral crusade, more virtue signalling than substance. Who really cares?

| I’m happy enough with the choice of Reebok as shirt providers. I thought the Paladin shirts were a bit of a mess: didn’t think the collar worked. I suspect that virtue signalling sponsorships across private sector/ big business are beginning to be a poisoned chalice as society becomes more divided (you impress one set of people with your right mindedness/offend another set) and may soon fade away. Sponsorship of Israel wouldn’t put me off personally - a s**t product would. Any way…..

As long as following on from their Leopard head Leigh shirt, we don't end up with a horses head version.

As long as following on from their Leopard head Leigh shirt, we don't end up with a horses head version. The leopards head was the least of the problems if I recall. The leopards aris on the back of the shirt and the c*ck and balls in the middle of the leopards forehead were what drew most criticism! If we want to attract attention I certainly wouldn’t dismiss that type of approach but my (minor) concern with our rebrand is that we retain the Broncos name but our logo is completely disconnected- the focus on the letter B and some swords. One presumes when the idea of rebranding RL clubs came in was that some type of ‘exciting’ name eg Hornets, Rhinos etc had some kind of marketing potential/draw for the kids. If that’s a load of old nonsense then the Broncos name becomes irrelevant and we may as well become London R.L.F.C. or if we don’t think horses are the way to go rename ourselves the London whatever it is we think sounds good R.L.F.C.
