depends on your preference in a night out. from good real ale trad pubs through to the disco inferno of the Biggmarket, newcastle has something for everyone. Being firmly in the former bracket if i could choose only one for a decent night it would be the Crown Posada every time
Best pubs in my opinion are Pleased to Meet You, Bacchus, Bridge Tavern, Alvinos and Brewdog. I like microbrewed real ales and american craft beers for reference.
