He is facing a Grade A 'Striking an opponent' charge from the Summer Bash match, which will be dealt with next Tuesday. Contact is described as 'light', and the par punishment in the range NFA (No Further Action) to 1 match suspension.

I thought at the time that it was a penalty try all the way and a sin bin, 2 match ban is a bit harsh though.

Penalty try and sin bin sufficient is my opinion as well. You can't kick out like that at a player carrying the ball though, so he may get the 1-match ban?

NFA will be the decision
I think the RFL will consider being part of the Summer THRASH will be punishment enough.

Seems a fair result, no malice in it but you simply can not swing your boot like that but even worse when you can not see what you are swinging at.
