Maybe Omar has realised that there's no point putting more money into a black hole and got out while he can?

2014 is going to be a bloodbath at the bottom of SL at this rate.
London have no players or anywhere to play last time I checked.
Wakey still have a £350K hole to fill and are probably going with a weaker squad.
Now Bradford have an owner leaving due to 'ill health' 1-2 months after selling propety to prop them up.

Whoever goes down is propably going to be screwed for a fair while due to the current problems adding to the lack of top league RL.

This isn't me gloating BTW I'm just saying it as I see it.

On the plus side, won't it be exciting seeing all the 'meaningful games' where clubs get to fight for their very survival?

The way things are going those canvassing for a ten team league may get their wish.

Tbh, as far as certain sections of Bradford's fan base, Omar couldn't do right for doing wrong. He saved the club, invested his personal money into keeping the club running and there are still Bradford fans who act like they did HIM a favour in allowing him to save the club from liquidation.

But nevermind all that and disregard whatever the new owners are bringing in, I'm looking forward to all the new stories about how Bradford are going out of business.

Change of ownership is just another irrelevant smokescreen.

Bradford's future would be best served by reacquainting themselves with a semi-professional existence ASAP.

The same can be justifiably said for half of the current clubs in Super League.

I agree many clubs are in a mess but is this really the fault of Wood? Surely it is the clubs themselves that have a duty to manage their finances and live within their means.
