Surprised Cas even managed that. We had a ridiculous number of Thursday night games. something like 7 out of 8 Super 8 matches

Regular season for Tigers is 7098. Up slightly on 2014 but with 2 very decent seasons on the pitch we should be doing a bit better IMO. Widnes and Catalans have done well there.

So that's why we didn't have the usual attendances thread at the end of the regular rounds. Crowds were up.

Hull's attendance figures are misleading. They always include season tickets even if they do not attend the match. An example is the official figure for this months Huddersfield game was announced as 9,300 although Hull's owner Adam Pearson said that there were only 6,400 in the ground. It's been obvious to Hull fans for years that the announced attendance is manufactured. I suspect some other clubs may do the same thing.

when we played at wigan earlier in the 8's i think the crowd was given as over 11,000 but there were clearly nowhere near 11,000 in the ground.

I would be surprised if any club doesn't include non-attending season ticket holders these days.

Everyone does that, from sports clubs to pop concerts and festivals.
If people buy tickets but don't turn up they don't get a refund do they?
