If the powers that be start a poll "smithy68"
My vote would be for Paul Charlton.
Of course David Watkins was fantastic but PC was top draw in my eyes.

| Think it depends on how old you are.
I wasn't around in the 70's so i couldn't vote for the likes of Watkins, Charlton etc regardles of how good i know they were.
For me my favourite Salford player of all time is Steve Blakely.

| If we are talking players we actually remember seeing play I have to agree, Paul shaw is up there. But on reputation I couldn't pick from the Watkins era. They were not just a group of individually great players, they were a great TEAM.
