Game to be played at Post Office Road which should be of some benefit to Leigh compared to a proper away game?

First time I can go to Post Office road without the fear of being stabed by one of the local numpties.

Leeds will be absolutely ecstatic to draw Leigh. They can immediately take it to a neutral venue, go through the motions and plan a date for the Challenge Cup Semi final, whilst now eagerly awaiting the semi final draw.

Im surprised Leigh are not putting up a fight in regards to this. It would have been a 10k plus gate at Headingley, but will be surprised if there is 5k there !

They'll be more bothered with trying to get to the Leeds fans than the Leigh fans. Although I suppose there is a chance the coaches could get attacked again.

I think you'll find that it is something to do with the Test Match being played at headingley that weekend. Just out of interest how many 10k+ gates have there been before the semis in the CC during the last 10 years? I suspect that i'd not have to take my socks off to count them. Even at Headingly I'd not have expected the attendance to be muuch more than 7k, since clubs don't include the season tickets for these games.

FFS, if you believe that there any more so called "numpties" of the Fev ilk than there are of Leigh ilk then you have been wearing blinkers for quite a while, get over the sterio types that are no more true for one club than they are another. And just to help you feel free to come look this numpty up in the Featherstone Hotel before the game on Saturday and you can debate anything RL with me (I'll be the one in the Fev shirt mingling with the Leigh fans).

I'm currently in negosiations to see if I can make the Leeds v Leigh game (Charlie "knows" why this might not be possible), and if I go I'll be with the Leigh fans supporting them. As I was last year at a number of games in SL, not because I hate Leeds more than I hate Leigh, but because I would honestly like to see a championship side make the semis and because of the freindships I have made with a number of people on this forum.

Maybe all of us should be trying to look for the positives at other clubs and all working together to address the bad element at every club, rather than trying to score points with our mates over a keyboard?
