If it was Ainscough who didn't jump for that ball there would of been a lot of people on his back BUT if he played like Roberts did last night everyone would be creaming themselves over him

I did my nut last night at that try - for some reason Pat set himself for the catch but chose to take it on the ground - there's always the risk someone will jump in front of you doing that - and they did. He knows better than that.

So it's not 'oki doki' but fortunately it didn't have a bearing on the result and given the times Pat has rescued us, kept us in games, kicked crucial goals and generally been a 'Superman', we can forgive him the very occasional error.

It's when players repeatedly cock up and/or concede points as a result that they deserve prolonged criticism.

I know but he just had a bad game with it, its not a problem with his game unlike Ainscough and it seems Roberts.

What makes you think that? No just in the state of shock, it was and Ainscough and King re-run. But then again, Carmont not watching the surrounds didn't help either, giving Richards the call Gafa was flying in would of helped slightly I think.

yeah for one game so far this year. He's one of the safest under the high ball in the league, o i know lets drop him because he got done once.

Ainscough shouldnt have been dropped from the team when he did, BUT he does have a problem under the high ball, its happen numerous times this year and if he is in the side he WILL get targeted. Comparing the two is just stupid.


BUT if ainscough played like roberts did last night, everyone would be saying he's amazing.

Richards' was a mistake, Ainscoughs is a flaw in his game AT PRESENT. Thats the difference.
