Anyone else had a call tonight from the lotto shop but off01484 487939 number trying to sell lotto subscriptions

Is this legit? Are they just using a telemarketing company?

I've had it too. I wasn't interested.

They sounded a too desperate, I had one ladt week

Did it go along the lines of,

"its to inject some money into the club and the junior set up as Warrington are doing"

Then I had one last week, no way am I going to give my details to some one over the phone. Its not as I had called them, it could have been anyone at the end of the day.

I just had a missed call off the same number, googled it and it says 01484 is the Huddersfield area code

It's a scam.

I had quite a few of those calls and have just had another one today, only this time telling me about the bigone3 and how many discounted tickets would i be buying!!! Personally i hate these "cold calls" and they are becoming quite annoying, if i want to join the lotto then i will join, likewise if i want to take up the offer of discounted tickets then i will, but i don't want someone trying to force them on me over the phone.

I've had the lotto one a few times now and they did sound a bit desperate, probably is legit but didnt want to risk giving them my bank details over the phone and was also put off by the Huddersfield area code. I got the Big One 3 one the other day as well.

just ask them to send you details and they will do,i did that and it only costs £1 a week

There's a company called Intelligent Sales that does outbound calling like this for clubs. It's genuine.

It maybe genuine but its also just as annoying as the constant phonecalls that are trying to sell you, kitchens, mobile phones, insurance & holidays that you have won excl the flights

i had one ans asked them to post the details to my, they did and then rang me back a week later and then again a couple of days after that! I've also had a call about the big one 3
