| Walters out for 12 weeks with a fractured fibula, Thompson done a couple of ribs, so that'll be a pain management job. Expect Dupree and Hill to take their spots, fortunately we're coming to on paper a run of eminently winnable games so we should be able to cope without them.

| Getting Havard back has come at the right time. Still means we have him, Dupree, Byrne, Mago, and Hill, which should be fine. Hopefully we don't get any injuries in the 2nd row.

| At least we have options, other than those mentioned we have Ellis who can move to prop , O'Neil can cover 13/2nd row if required, Mago has covered 13 in the past as well if Ellis is moved, so not too bad and the next few games are not the most difficult, at least on paper. Leaves us a little thin possibly on the bench but maybe a good time to look at one or two of the younger players as well.
Walters being out for so long is a blow though as he has been playing well, did anyone see how he got the injury - I don't recall seeing anything on the coverage that looked that bad.

Very innocuous injury. Wasnt involved in a tackle and you could see him pull up about 5 yards away, but equally as others have posted on here / Warriors fans, they are often the most serious as not caused by impact as such Thompson was taken off and I dont think anyone had really noticed he'd gone off, then sat on side with club polo shirt on i said to daughter we get one back, and lose 2. Luckily we have a run of games that we should be able to win against the bottom 3 clubs, plus week off for CC. Only Wakey have any sort of form, so we'll need to be up for that one

| We always lose at Wakey, even when they're not playing well like they are at the minute

| Walters pulled up earlier in the game with what seemed to be his ankle (i assume without checking that it was the same one) when we were up 14-0 and was hobbling on it for a while. I said at the time that it was crazy to keep him on when we were 3 tries up and still on top, but we took the risk of keeping him on and now will have to deal with the repercussions of that choice.
We have enough cover for now but could we bring Harvey Makin back in as extra cover? Could be a good chance to give him some game time at Wigan with the run of games we have coming up?

| Do we go for straight replacements with Dupree/Hill coming in or something more "resting" with Farrimond, Douglas also coming in or even an eye on the future bringing in Dupree, Farrimond, Makin?

Will Walters be back in time for possible England selection? Yeah, he should be back in late August/early September going off the initial reports. Personally I think he should be in the squad and the 17. He was absolutely superb before his injury.
