Just read on BBC website, that Rob Burrow has been diagnosed with MND.

So sad.

Thoughts with him and his family

That is awful news.

Yeah, absolutely awful news, my thoughts go out to him and his family. When you posted, for a few seconds I had to think what MND stood for, then I remembered and my heart sunk.

For those that don't know about this terrible disease, alyhough some have lifted to 8-9 years, life expectancy is about 3.
That family have some very tough days ahead. Awful news.

Jesus Christ, awful news. A cracking player even if he did annoy the hell out of me when playing against us. Thoughts with his family.

That's pretty sobering.

His parents must be devastated. Spoke with them a couple of times at BV. They're a really proud, but unassuming couple.

Not sure what you can say here.
Burrow was a cracking RL player and despite being small in stature, he had the heart of a lion never gave less than 100%.
One can only hope that the illness takes hold slowly and he's got some good years in front of him and it's brave of him to go public.

Very sad news for one so young. Poor lad.

Every time we played Leeds Rob ripped us apart yet somehow you couldn't help but like him. He played it well and clean and for a truly small man he had real heart. On of that rarest of players, a true legend of the game. Really awful illness, very sad to hear this.

My heart goes out to the lad ,was small in stature but a true giant on the field and fearless .Hope the RL family comes together to help in anyway they can at this sad time
