homme vaste:
Saw Smoothy was starting at Prop this morning for the Broncos...which I was a little taken back by, but shows some good versatility! Anyone see how he got on?
I think the perception is Smoothy is a specialist 9, however the reality is he is a utility forward.
In the pre season games he played 9, secondrow, 13 and 6.
In a similar way to Tevaga is not a 13 as many seem to think or a 9, he can play both and arguably his best position is in the 14 role which is now becoming almost a specialist position off the bench.
Looks to me like we are happy with the size in our pack but having quality versatility in the squad too ensures we have plenty of combinations to use in our game plans.
With both being able to use the ball I’m expecting again next year we will be playing an attractive brand of rugby.
