Good to see Horne showing some form this season. Thought he was head and shoulders our best player on Friday and sounds like he had a good game today in addition to some other good performances earlier in the season. He may not be the most talented 1/2 back in superleague but there is no doubting his commitment to the cause or the effort he puts into the game. Never seen him give less than 100% for the club and I'm pleased he's signed another 12 month extension. Great back up option and we'd have been really stuck this year if he wasn't around.

He's doing really well, yet again the only recognised have for most of the season so far but he definitely turned it up this year. Even his long kicking game hasn't been so bad, in some games very good. If only he had the pace what he previously had.

He was our best player today for me. Controlled the game and kicked well. Always probing with the ball and defended well. If we want to progress to top 4 then we need better halves than Horne but off the bench as a utility player he would be a great option. Always offers commitment and has been superb over easter.

I really cannot think of anyone else who would be looking forward to Standee’s thoughts (except Standee of course and perhaps his mum). I recon he could do adverts for go compare.

Richard Horne is Mr Hull Fc: He's a fantastic competitor and a very professional player to boot. So far he has been our best player this season.

It seems to me like his long kicking game has improved this year.

There was one on Friday that he's tried a couple of times this year where he clipped it just over the wingers head and got it to stay in the in goal for us to force a drop out.

I'm looking forward to him and Holdsworth getting games together for the rest of the season.

I'm sure that this is the first year that he has had an injury free pre-season in the last few years, I don't think that is any coincidence to how he is playing, he is an excellent squad player to have.

He'll only play four or five games - held together with tape and bandages. Oh hang on ...

Heard a rumour that Horney is looking to leave as his wife is unsettled due to homesickness. Oh hang on.....

Personally I thought Horne was poor on Friday....

At fullback he let the ball bounce far too often and seemed like he couldnt be d to run it forward at times
