Director of Rugby, Mike Sunderland announced the signing of 3 more players for the 2012 season. They are Mike Backhouse, Liam Finch and Mike Botes. Both Backhouse and Finch featured in the championship side of last season and are quality acquisitions to the squad. South African Mike Botes is the first newcomer to the squad having previously played Rugby Union for Furness over a number of seasons. Coach, Darren Holt believes he has all the attributes necessary to succeed at this level and is confident he will be able to make the transition to the other code.
