I must say this is a surprise signing but wlecomed all the same. A bit of quality added to the squad until at least the end of the season.
I also didnlt like the way he left the club previously, he was used as a bit of a scapegoat..
Won;t be playing this week but gives us cover in several positions... get him back at centre and shove handley to the wing... where i think he is a better player.

The Rhinos have announced that Kallum has signed a deal for the remainder of the 2025 season? Although Blease does reference that there could be a coaching role down the line I'm going with my source and that what I was told will be pretty much bang on The Biffs Back:
I have been informed that Leeds will be announcing that Kallum Watkins will.be rejoining the club.
His signing should be announced early next week.
I have been told that the initial deal is for the remainder of this season and also for the 2026 season.
Fitness and form permitting then their is an option for the 2027 season too.
Kallum has a coaching role at the club in the pipeline for when he eventually hangs up his boots.
He is scheduled to play for Salford in the CC game against Catalans this week.
It will be interesting to see if he actually turns out for them or not?

Brings much needed experience.
Knows the club (yadda yadda)
Still a very good player.
Also would echo that he didn't have the best exit from Leeds and now's a chance to set that right.
Club trained so wont dent the cap as much as an outsider.
Very happy that hes come home.
