The Try Reading web site is well worth keeping an eye on. It links the Rugby League World Cup with a project to encourage more people to get into reading, writing, drama and using their local library.
Events are being held right across the North of England. On Saturday September 14th, Leigh Library have invited me to talk about my five novels (One Winter, One Spring, One Summer, One Autumn and the most recently published Two Seasons) all of which have a strong Rugby League background. More details about this and similar events at Westhoughton and Walkden will be posted here nearer the time.
More details about Two Seasons are also given on my publisher's web site www.llpshop.co.uk

Cheers Geoff. I think Ryan Brierley has done some school visits on this project. Brilliant way to use sport for the greater good.
I can't make your talk unfortunately but I will tell my dad who loves your books.

I am also appearing at Westhoughton Library on Thursday 10th October and Walkden Library on the 17th October. More details about those two events later.
